New Samsung Galaxy S7 release date reportedly going to be Friday, March 11th

 
According to a tweet from renowned smartphone leaker Evan Blass, Samsung is targeting Friday, March 11th as the release date for New Samsung Galaxy S7. The phone’s announcement will almost surely be happening during a press conference before the annual Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, giving the South Korean company just a couple of weeks to get the phone pushed out to retail after it’s shown off on stage…

While the mockup you see above is something nice to drool over while we wait for the phone’s actual announcement, the latest rumors tell us that the S7 isn’t going to be much different than the previous generation. We’ve seen its schematics purportedly leaked, we’ve seen a couple different case leaks (not to mention the fact that Spigen seems to be already selling a couple Galaxy S7 cases on Amazon), and we’ve even purportedly seen the Edge variant’s specs leaked via an AnTuTu benchmark.
Model number SM-G935A (whichever device that actually is—most are in agreement that it’s the S7 Edge) has a 5.1-inch screen, a Snapdragon 820 processor, a quad HD resolution screen, 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The benchmark also shows a 12MP camera (tipped to be using Samsung’s BRITECELL technology to make up for lost megapixels). The phone will also reportedly have a larger battery, water resistance, and a microSD card slot.
